On exploration with useful widgets
If you are not eager to figure out the entire manual, but want to get a quick overview of everything the HTC X One has to offer you, you can discover in no time, thanks to the “show” widget, everything your HTC One X can offer you, listing all the important features and a detailed explanation for every possible function of the device.
We start at the beginning and that is obviously the home screen. By moving upwardly a ring depicted on the screen, you can unlock the screen and then personalize it as you please, by adding your favourite applications, folders, widgets and shortcuts, by creating a desired background… and all this just a click on the screen away. Moreover, you can swipe, slide, drag, flick, scroll, rotate, adjust the size of your widgets and much more, as much as your heart desires. In short, everything is within finger reach! Some things that would otherwise require more touches, you can activate with just one button.
The HTC One X uses version 4 of Android, in which all Android 4-elements are present, but furthermore a series of extra “widgets” in the form of small programs, including for e-mail, Twitter or Facebook updates. So there is no need to download additional apps to keep up to date with your social media because you can automatically log on to your various social platforms thanks to HTC Sense, and you will be constantly informed of the status updates, events and pictures of your friends using the Friend Stream.
Your Smartphone keeps you constantly up to date on what you can do with your device. When you touch the start icon on your screen, the ring starts moving towards the icon and screens that you are seeing for the first time, showing an introductory text with information about the use of these functions. Even your mail and calendar management are a piece of cake, using the various associated features of the HTC One X.
