Conclusion
The SVS Ultra Surround set surprised me. Not that I didn’t have high expectations of its quality, but SVS succeeded with the Ultra Surround set in putting out a sound level that very closely approaches High End reproduction. Given the extremely competitive price, the high quality finish, the meticulously selected units and the perfect arrangement of the filtering for the speaker units, you have in the Ultra Surround set a home cinema set at home that sounds and plays as a whole.
During the complete testing of this set, I quickly lost sight of the testing and was soon immersed in the music or in the movie. That is a clear indication of the level of this SVS set.
A small drawback for me is the design of the Ultra Tower speakers, but this is just a small side note. The cleanliness and the power that the two subwoofers add to sound ensure a perfect match to the whole SVS story. And if you want even more and are looking for the absolute top, then instead of the two Dipole surround speakers, use two or even four Ultra Tower speakers as surround speakers. With that set, you’re playing at the absolute top SVS reproduction level.
